Micro-lending Coordinator

Goodwill Group Foundation is a Bangkok-based charity whose mission is to improve the quality of life of young disadvantaged Thai women via skills training and career services.  Through our new micro-lending program, we seek to enable, support and promote the efforts of Thai women to create small businesses and other income-generating activities.

 Primary responsibilities:

1. Interview prospective borrowers, assess and document their financial position
2. Monitor borrower on a periodic basis, provide support and advice as needed
3. Track loan payments and follow-up on delinquent payments
4. Prepare a monthly report on program status for management

 Qualifications:

1. Thai national
2. Bachelor degree or equivalent
3. Enthusiastic, creative thinker and strong problem-solving skills
4. Experience with working with people in a developing area is a plus
5. Some knowledge of Accounting
6. Knowledge of Microsoft Office applications
7. Some travel upcountry may be required
   
   

This position will require the candidate to learn and understand all aspects of the foundation’s operations.  This position will provide the successful candidate with valuable experience in the non-profit sector.  There is significant opportunity for advancement.
